What’s Happening: March 7, 2016

GMCVB Board of Directors unanimously approved support of the March 15, 2016 City of Miami Beach Referendum Item #60 approving the city’s lease of city property for a convention headquarter hotel adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center on Monday, January 25, 2016. The proposed 100 percent privately funded 800-room headquarter hotel adjacent to the convention center is crucial to the success of the renovation of the Miami Beach Convention Center in attracting business and especially highly coveted citywide conventions. The GMCVB encourages voters on Miami Beach to VOTE ‘YES’ #60.
